Daily toil is a constant woe
above the soil it’s a live man’s owe.
Live to earn to live to earn
then pay your way and live to learn
Wisdom churns in an old man’s eyes
he counsels those who seek the WHYs.
He pities those, who think they’re wise.
As he himself would that deny.
Learn from those who can influence,
Your path, your life, your flee from strife.
Explain to me what you see.
What’s inside that makes you be
The one and only you,
The one that must stay true?
Introspection, self reflection,
know yourself, and your heart’s elections.
Why do you believe?
What do you perceive?
Prepare for life’s true gifts,
Be ready to receive,
Then celebrate the end,
You’ll learn about them then.
